Salted Chicken Wet- My Favourite

This salted chicken with rice is a bit different because it is more watery. They also provide soup, and is nice too.

Is in Taman Maluri, Cheras. The only problem is very hard to find parking.

They also have fish, pork, mix pork and chicken porridge.

Don't worry no place to sit, they have plenty of table upstairs.

Location is at side of Public Bank. Not the main opposite of Public Bank, but side opposite. The block before Public Bank block.

Many people like it too.

Try it.

Sausage & Ribs Shack

Many said nice. But the location is a bit quiet. Shop lot where at night almost all other shops are closed.

Nice and popular.
Always many people go there. Can find your seat not a problem.

Location, just in front of CIMB Bank. Borders of Taman Segar, very near Leisure Mall and the CIMB Bank is visible from Jalan Cheras. At night, you can see many people there.

Nice Steam Fish Head

This one my friends went there few times. They said nice. Whenever they want to bring me there, always crowded.

Many dishes are steam.

Location is in Taman Segar, roadside. In between Petronas and Perodua.

If want to try, go early.

Lam's Kitchen

This one is inside the Jaya Grocer, Cheras Sentral. Not many people notice it, if they didn't go into Jaya Grocer.

Food is ok and price reasonable.

This chicken rice stall is quite nice.

Next to Pantai Cheras, Taman Cheras Makmur, Taman Yulek.

Normal price.

HOONG KEE Seafood Noodles House

Location Taman Maluri Cheras.
Next to Hotel Maluri and Old Town White Coffe.

Taste: one of my friend said nice.

If you order normal noodle the price is quite reasonable. If you order special, the price can be very expensive.

Famous Teluk Intan Chee Cheong Fun

I have not tried the famous Teluk Anson Chee Cheong Fun before. Few friends home town is there but they didn't buy. Probably because the stall only open during midnight I heard.

I saw this is Cheras Maluri. Taste? Will not comment until I try the Anson Rice Noodle Roll.

Price, not cheap.

Cheap Mixed Rice or Economy Rice

This stall is cheap. If you ask me how cheap, I don't know how to describe, just that we all conclude that this stall is cheap.

Location: next to Taman Connaught basketball court.

Taste: normal.

Jade Village Restaurant Dim Sum

Dim Sum Taman Connaught Cheras. Taman Connaght is quite famous for dim sum. There are a few restaurant selling dim sum, normally very crowded on Saturday and Sunday morning, and also public holiday.

We have went to a few previously, so today we went again. We didnt really choose, just try anyone nearest to where we parked our car. We arrived at 1.30pm, most crowd are gone.

Normal price. RM10 per person. So 3 of us adults, about RM30.

Taste: normal.

Location: No 2, Jalan Cerdik, Taman Connaught, Cheras 56000.

Y E Traditional Dumplings Restaurant

Quite famous but I think the location is not suitable.
Taste ok.

Lui Cha. Pan Mee. But the specialty is dumplings. Many kinds of dumplings.

Price is normal.

Location: Pandan Jaya LRT station nearby shop lots. One the right side if you are facing the LRT station.

Ming Kee Charcoal Claypot Chicken Rice 明记

Claypot Chicken Rice.
Nice and cheap.

We tried for the first time, 2 adults 1 child.

Claypot Chicken Rice RM7.50 small.
We ordered Big RM15.

Soup small cannot remember.
We ordered Medium RM7.50.
Owner said cannot order big RM8.50 because can serve up to 7 or 8 people.

Vegetable big RM8.50

The big rice actually can serve 3 persons if you are not big eater.
May not need to order vegetable or soup if just for quick meal.

If you not eating salted fish and chinese sausage, may ask them not to put.

Per person is RM5 to RM10.

Cannot really remember the price, maybe RM1 or RM2 difference.

Will be in my recommendation list because value for money.

Hakka Marble Restaurant Nice

This is small fried (siew chau). Many kinds and styles of noodles. Taste? I have been there twice, nice. Many of my friends been there many times, said nice. The problem is crowded, because many people like it.

Fried rice, ShuPunChi, etc also nice.

Location: Taman Anggerik, after Taman Len Sen Cheras.
Near Saturday pasar malam.
Same row with T&C clinic, 7Eleven.

Price : normal fried noodle price.

Menu : fried noodle menu.

Try it.

This will be in my recommendation list.

Shan Shui Fish Village

Fisg RM20. Vegetable RM8 or RM6. We ordered RM20 steam fish, one vegetable RM6. And we also ordered from another stall RM7 bak kut teh vegetable no meat with Yau Char Kua RM7.

Total with drinks less than RM50 for 3 persons. If just ordered one veg and no drink, RM10 per person.

Taste: Normal. If around that area want to try, go ahead.

Location: Inside KK Food Court. Between Taman Len Sen, Taman Orkid Desa and Taman Connaught.

Talk about KK Food Court, there was one time no people, now they have revived, crowded also.
